Junkstock Part 1

Saturday, my oldest daughter and I made a quick trip to Omaha to join all the fun at the first annual Junkstock.  We took the baby along so there really wasn't shopping on our minds...just checking it out and wanting to see if I'd like to be a vendor for next year.  But, oh was there wonderful shopping to be done!

The ground was uneven and there was a jaunt from the parking to the site which is entirely fine and to me made it more fun.  Along our walk was this couch out in the field.  I don't know if they put it there on purpose for a photo op, but we jumped at the chance and a new blog header was born!

Loved this sign that redeux had, but I have no link for them. :(

How's that for a statement piece? (In redeux's booth)

This is a pretty display from the Painted Pineapple.

I loved this tree branch display and her necklaces in the Painted Pineapple's Booth.

The infamous Cammie from the junking world and Flea Market Style Magazine.

Great keys and a great display.

I'll post more pictures from our visit to Junkstock later this week.  I'm not sure if they've set the dates for next year's event yet, but I think you'll want to put it on your calendar as soon as they do.  The atmosphere was festive and the junk was glorious!

  4. Jill I started smiling the miniute the tires started to load and still have a big old grin going ...what fun you had and I love the couch/header. Sometimes it is so fun to try these new places out. I really think the tank garden needs a tire planter. You have to have one on the farm somewhere.....

  13. Do you suppose we were standing next to each other admiring all of the cool junk and didn't even know it? No, I went on Friday! Junk Bonanza and Junk Jubilee better watch out! There is a new show in town! If I knew how to do it, I'd agree to be a vendor in a heartbeat!
